I have my TS-590 transceiver locked to a Trimble Thunderbolt 10MHz
reference, using the device from here:
http://www.vk3hz.net/XRef/XRef_Home.html#XRef-Vx

It's the X-Ref Versatile one that allows the standard internal
reference oscillator in the 590 to be used if the 10MHz reference is
absent. I sometimes use the 590 as my LF RX, and always use it's
136kHz output as my LF amp driver. At other times I use an active whip
into a little :

http://icas.to/lineup/idc-136ii-kit-eng.htm

for 136kHz RX.

Two questions, can EbNaut be used with something like the TS-590, and
if so is this frequency locking adequate, or how can I tell if it is?

Actually, a third question, is there, or will there be an idiot's
guide to running EbNaut? ;)

Thanks.
