Dear Group,
My sincere condolences to the family and many friends of Peter.
He was very much a gentleman and made considerable efforts to
assist experimenters in LF and MF. I fondly remember his TA's
with me on 2200 and 600m, his many emails, the pieces of litz,
the Decca amp, his book and all the hours of fun on longwave.
We shall miss him greatly.

I have been informed that Peter Dodd, G3LDO, died last night.
Peter was very active in the early days of LF, making the first two-
way QSO on 73kHz and being part of a very early transatlantic
contact on the 136kHz band. He compiled several early collections of
articles on low frequency operating, including The LF Experimenter's
Handbook which was published by the RSGB in 2000.
Many of you will also know his numerous books and articles on
antennas.
Those who met him will remember him as a real gentleman. I had the
privilege to work with him on RadCom and various books.
A sad loss to amateur radio.
Mike, G3XDV
