Hi Mal, I accept you definition, but democracy considers the "majority" of
the eligible voters not the the just the activists, but it takes note of the
concerns of the minorities and activists :-))
My major concern is that if the spammers decide to register as they do
regularly on Yahoo Groups there wiill be no way of stopping the flow of spam
and nasties to members, because there are no moderators. This could destroy
Blacksheep. We have been lucky so far! hopefully it will continue that way.

it is a simple text-based system.
We repeat we cannot do anything about its operation or maintenance, it

remain there as long as the hardware and software keep running. Sadly for
new LFers all the wisdom of the years is lost, because Blacksheep has no
archive, one of the main reasons there was a movement towards Yahoo.
