Far from the size of an Austin Mini is my 1979 van with a 160 meter 
antenna.  This actually worked very well operating stationary during a  
ARRL 160 contest about ten years ago.  I also operated some while in 
motion after adding a spring to the antenna base and a monofilament 
fishing line to keep the antenna vertical and to act as a fuse just in 
case the antenna hit something.

I see I failed to add there is a matching transformer inside the van 
right at the feed point.
