Hi Wolf,
copied some further partial exchange..
At least on my side the qrg is fine no special
interferences here but I was using the miniwhip.
Being forced to listen.. no tx antenna till the
weather and other tasks improve :-( so manly listening on 137 or lower
bands.

By the way WSQ is running on a net book with W7
starter, on the other PC with W2000 the software doesn't start giving a strange
error message...I have to investicate..

WSQ
Hello Marco,
Thanks for the info. Indeed the
QSB is deep now; Andy F6CNI just went up to easy 'audible' copy and then went
back into the noise but still printed about 90% in WSQ2.
Do you also have
permanent 'carriers' in the WSQ frequency range in Italy (and elsewhere)
?
Suggestions also from others about a preferred frequency range for this
QSO mode ?
Here, the carrier on 478.404 kHz is now so strong that i can
see 'modulation sidebands' (which may also be the effect of a 'pumping' AGC)
up to 20 Hz above and below it... so just outside the decoder's audio
frequency range when the RX is at 477.3 kHz in USB.
