I hoped you had forgotten to remind me. :-)
Seriously,today I soldered (not smoked) the hopefully last joint
in the interface between the PA and the IC-706.
The PA has been tested successfully on monday evening on a dummy load.
I measured 6,56Np over 1mW which should do for a start.
But there had to be thrown together a few relays,switches,diodes,LEDs,transisor
etc.
to enable SAFE T/R operation with the 706 together with the PA and with an
extra receiver (no cw filter in the 706).
I also had to measure the TX delay time between PTT (open collector) and RF
output
and so on.
This took more time than estimated (as always).
I will test the interface tomorrow evening and if it works as intended I'm
ready for qso.
Will post here on the list when ready to go.
