Thats the problem 3 dB =
1000 watts
Your looking from a good SDR
Rx op32 = -40 dB OP65 must
be -43 / -44 dB bottom limit , but then
Markus has cunningly devised a post
process , correlation system that pattern matches
the OP keying signature for each call ,
that gives another 7 db or so +
taking things to -53 , that 7 db is
x4 power , an extra 4Kw free , noting
that the OP system is averaging and will make use
of any qsb , that -43 is average over
65 mins
In this situation , with minimal
efficiency , max AE system , Max TX power , Rx
sites are well sorted this side , the
only option left is time , if op65
wont cross the pond , Jose has a
OP130 option , that's a long cycle ,
but its another 3 dB and double
the sample size , after that stability is a
problem
from the first decodes
OP16 would of made it locally , that
would give a qsb profile , as to what go's
on , Gus sm6bhz is starting to think OP8 is
better than OP32 , hes putting in some good
ranges in the night , but he has quite
a substantial Ae ..

G; If I could handle more voltage at the base of my
vertical I have the capability of going to 5 KV plate volts @ 2 amps plate
current. I would have to use a keyed CW mode to run this rig like
that. But it would kick ass. I wouldn't want to run a steady
state keydown carrier much over 4-5 KW. So OP 65 would have 3+ db jump
over anything else right off the bat! But can't handle the ant input
voltage-this is a log house and wood constructed garage for the shack-fire dept
over 2 miles away in town-this place would burn to the ground-Bob

We have still the last working OP2
qso mode , which can send ' I have two cats'
But the decode s/n is -20 dB ,
ROS-MF-2 is round -26 dB -28dB about
the same
as wspr-2 , but a full free running
data mode
At speeds less than 1 baud ,
would any one use such a mode , there was
a ROS 0.1 Baud
7/8 db lower , but very very slow
! ..
In the start , was the problem of
translating audio to rf on 136/500 ,
but now that
seems to be much less of a problem

Dear LF enthusiasts! my opinion is not very original in
English - in Russian I would write A4+++ :-) "CQ R7NT K" QRSS20
- 28' 40'" simple TX, visual decode, subjective report, random
time, QSO mode.... DFCW20 - 11' 4" little more
complicated TX, visual decode, subjective report, random time,
QSO mode.... "any call ++" Qp32 - 32' simple TX,
software based decode/report, random time, no QSO mode.... WSPR-15
- 15' little more complicated TX, software based decode/report,
00', 15', 30', 45' times to start, no QSO mode........ QRSS20
~~=DFCW20 ~~=OP32 ~~=WSPR-15 Comparing OP32 and WSPR-15
(OP8/WSPR-2) is equally as comparing QRSS20 and DFCW20 (QRSS3/
DFCW3) I personally like DFCW, JT9-5..10 more.... but I have the little
choise now.... ...maybe WOLF agn? 73! Alex R7NT 136.73.ru
