If I could handle more voltage at the base of my
vertical I have the capability of going to 5 KV plate volts @ 2 amps plate
current. I would have to use a keyed CW mode to run this rig like
that. But it would kick ass. I wouldn't want to run a steady
state keydown carrier much over 4-5 KW. So OP 65 would have 3+ db jump
over anything else right off the bat! But can't handle the ant input
voltage-this is a log house and wood constructed garage for the shack-fire dept
over 2 miles away in town-this place would burn to the ground-Bob

In the start , was the problem of
translating audio to rf on 136/500 ,
but now that
seems to be much less of a problem
