Hello Wolf,No, i think i will do the first tests tomorrow, if the WX permits. Maybe i find a place where i can leave the antenna for a day, so i can go on the next day. With my PA running a few watts and the homemade analog VFO (consuming just a few mA) it would even be possible to run an overnight test. But let's see for the first results before thinking about QSOs... 73, Stefan/DK7FC Am 24.07.2012 21:56, schrieb wolf_dl4yhf: Hi Stefan, If, by chance, you are QRV with the experimental dipole tonight:I will be at DF0WD around 20:30 UTC, watching the bats there, and make a few calls around 472.5 kHz.As far as I can tell from my home location, the QRN is low at the moment. So regardless of poor 'DX' conditions it may be worth trying. Worse conditions / high QRN level expected for the weekend. 73, Wolf DL4YHF / DF0WD . |
