Maybe the French are right, looking after their own. In some countries all the ways and strays vote and the local indiginous population have no say and get taken over.

Pete, Mall,

I am an EU citizen but not a French Citizen, so I don't get to vote in the forthcoming election. Nor do I get to vote in the equivalent of District or Parliamentary elections. When I asked about the latter I was told “not yet”.

The Mairie tells me I can vote in the European Parliament elections, in the equivalent of parish council elections, and in one or two minor things.
