In this day of Global Technology and so called progress from the dark ages
the picture below looks GRIM from an amateur radio point of view.
of course Europe would you believe has allowed itself to drop to an all time
low in other respects for instance the Euro is in a mess and we are in a
deprerssion probably worse than after WW2.
It has been stated on here that although it has been agreed to allocate a MF
slot to radio amateurs, national governments might take a different view and
not implement it. Can anyone understand this mentality.
I could say more !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I suppose for UK radio amateurs it could be worse at least we are in the
GREEN, being somewhat an isolated Island has advantages.

the 800km protection zone (= 1W EIRP limit) will affect a large part of
Europe.
Keep in mind that the protection zone is not only to the east but also to
the south (all northern Africa countries requested protection).
Attached a small map that shows the situation.

Perhaps not as far as we would like - for example, is Kaliningrad still part
of the Russian Federation ?
