Hi Gary, Roger & RiK etc.
Thank you for your info on NOV renewal and protection zones, I appear to be
falling behind on the politics of LF, why all of these protection zones in
Europe and North Africa, is it because of the beacons?

Allocation

All,

the 800km protection zone (= 1W EIRP limit) will affect a large part of
Europe.
Keep in mind that the protection zone is not only to the east but also to
the south (all northern Africa countries requested protection).
Attached a small map that shows the situation.

Dear Pete, LF Group,

>"Power will be limited to 1W EIRP, but allowing 5W EIRP for (parts of)

>western countries are) from the border from a list of about 30 countries."

Perhaps not as far as we would like - for example, is Kaliningrad still part
of the Russian Federation ?

Cheers, Jim Moritz
