Ill certainly take 5W versus none with a big smile on my face -
I know how much work has gone into this so far with a number of people
giving up considerable time and resources.
- a couple of Watts ERP
on 502kHz from SM6BHZ reached a city central location in far
Eastern China on the Yellow Sea/Bohai Bay on WSPR/QRSS a year or so
back so a lot of things are possible at this power
level...

472-480kHz with 5W EIRP is the outcome of long and at moments very difficult
negotiations.
> Indeed, my "wish list" would be 500-515kHz with 100W
EIRP or so. But at the end I prefer to have 472-480kHz with 5 W EIRP in many
countries than the current 501-504kHz is just a few countries.

5W EIRP: that is some dB above the power I have been using for the past
years. It is OK CW up to +2000km and up to 7000km in WSPR / QRSS3.
