I think the Pennines may have something to do with it , noticed
that in the past with signals from Holland, skip is not always as
might be expected , Gary was not seeing you either , he is only
some 25 miles to my east , but over a bit more and M0PPP is
making a good job of it , I was using the skanti R5003 this
afternoon, just changed over to the RA1778 and MA1723 set up for tx
.. looks like Chris has stopped ? pity as I was looking for a
comparison..

Been running most of the day so far. Spots are being reported by M0PPP
and G3XIZ, so the RF is making it to the Southern half of England (I
count Wallasey as in the southern half, although mainly just to wind up
the missus, who is from Wallasey and considers herself "A Northerner")
I guess we're at the worst possible time for D-layer absorption at the
moment, a few hours should see it come right.
