Hello Gerhard, I don't think your set up is fluffy as you have excellent results at VLF. I have tested my antenna on a large diameter metal pole. As long as the pole is not connected to earth, signal drop is small.The antenna even works mounted inside the metal pole, as long as the pole is isolated from ground. I have been searching for my notes, but I'm afraid they reside on an external HD, which is not easily accessible at the moment. I have spent quite some time to optimize S/N, but different locations can give different results, I'm afraid! But, that is all part of the fun. 73, Roelof, pa0rdt |
