Thank you Gerhard.
Yes, i know about Ossis signal. I have forgotten to look for it during
my tests but i have done a recording and could re-process it. But Ossi
hasn't been QRV during that time, i just saw on my grabber ;-)
Anyway, Mal is about twice as far and i heared him so i am almost sure
that i would see Ossi in QRSS-60 :-) A CW test signal would have been
useful.
There will be enough chances in the near future, not just doing tests
but real QSOs, i hope so.

John, Stefan, LF!
Not sure if all of you have noticed, but Ossi, OE5ODL is providing such
a signal nearly all the time around 137775.
It would be ideally suited for Stefan because it's very well outside the
so called "Near-field" and thus giving "true" results.
Stefan, if you need such a signal for test purposes just get in touch
with Ossi, I'm sure he will be glad to assist.

Mal,
It's called “stepwise refinement”. Stefan's experiments need a steady
signal of known characteristics that is always there. He can use that
signal to establish how well (or otherwise) his new configuration
works.
It is not easy to do these things if you have to depend on signals
which may not always be there.
When you have made sufficient improvements, it is then a good time to
go looking for weaker signals.

But what sort of strength do you Receive weak Radio Amateur signals.
That is the real test
