No mains power needed, just pedal power and the old petrol electirc
generator, there is plenty of petrol about,  and some wet batteries.
Plenty of low consumption valves about also.
The radio operator has nothing to fear

That's right Mal. An' I'll have me old bike out, mechanically coupled to
the old dynamotor from the old Command Tx sweating away to produce some
HT volts too! The old Rx uses 807's, by the way! Errm, wots a razor
blade when yer an OAP?
