I have made a Mini-Whip antenna. I was just curious whether it can actually work or not. I tested it in a rf-quiet rural area. The antenna was drawn up to about 13 m, see the attached image.

I was surprised how well it worked, mainly in the range say 50kHz to 400kHz. As soon as having an opportunity I will make a comparison to large Marconi  T antenna -recording sounds, screenshotting spectrograf, measuring levels, etc.

 

I wonder what experience you made with it.
