Hi LVF,

my apologies for having quoted out-of-date information. Trond's lists are still valuable in my opinion as they are more extensive and detailed than other similar lists, however I did not intend to suggest that they contain the most up-to-date information on the web. Personally, I use these and other VLF lists just as a starting point, then I look to other sources (if available) for cross-check and further confirmation, even thought that often you can find that a given list was simply copied from another :-).

Hi Jurgen I dont know the list you quote....if it is a BC station list these
are often kept more up to date by monitoring stations. The vlf.it lists
Danielle quoted carry a date or 2001 I am sire Trond's Alfac site is more
up-to-date than that now.

The spectrograms give a good idea of what can be heard almost anywhere in
the world.though some have restricted their max frequency to 16kHz

The problem with pages like http://www.vlf.it/trond2/15-20khz.html is that I
don't know how old they are. And more confusing that GBR is listed as
"actrive"

MWLIST seems to be more accurate, it doesn't list GBR anymore.
How do guys see MWLIST, is it more up-to-date in the VLF range?

Yes I know that, I'm an engineer, and treat this always with sceptism.
But my antenna is in a rural area, only our house is the closest, and I know
most of the potential noise sources. But there's always something new to
discover. :-)
