Hello Petr, Roelof

I built one a few months ago and I am also very pleased with it.
It is a fantastic antenna and works far better than I expected it to.

Unfortunately I blew it up yesterday by poking 24v up the cable by mistake, easy enough to repair but maybe I ought to incorporate a zenner in the PSU.

Thanks Roelof for your design

Hello Petr,

That is a nice photo on a nice location.
I am looking forward to hear of your findings.

I have been using one for six years now in a suburban environment.
Though just 6 meter from the house and five meter up, I have had amazing catches at LF. I have had aural copy from NDB IPA on Easter Island in the Pacific that transmitted on 280 kHz.
This station has only been logged by three listeners in Europe.
One used a beverage, the other a K9AY and yours truly a mini-whip.

And also solid decodes on NAVTEX at 518 kHz from Japan, China and Taiwan.

So, yes, the antenna seems to work!
