Hi Andy, LFers, I'll second Stefan's recommendation of the WIMA FKP-1 caps. They are what I use in my 3 KVA Tesla coil and can take the harsh treatment just fine. A series-parallel array of 96 of them gave me both the capacity and the voltage rating that I needed. The coil is powered by a 14.4 KV power distribution transformer, or what we here in Canada refer to as a "POLE PIG" and it operates at about 260 kHz. 73, J.B., VE3EAR LowFER Beacon "EAR" 188.830 kHz.
