Hello LFers,

A nice video with spectacular views of both the structure and the surrounding
area! However, as a ex-rigger myself,
I was shocked at the lack of safety equipment and the climbing technique used.
I started off my climbing back in the
days when safety wasn't the issue that it is today, but it was MY life that was
at risk, and I used my safety equipment
even when not legally required to do so. More recently, all the commercial
towers here in Canada are required to
have a fall restraint system installed and maintained in good working order and
it MUST be used by climbers.
The Ministry of Labour comes down hard on those who don't comply.
