Hello Stefan, I'm afraid that this is not really the case. At present the European lightning map shows very little activity. But with summer im progress, the Medeterranean will warm up. This results in very large thunderstorm clusters moving from west to east. This can take days and will last with some bad luck till December. It is after X-mas that things really calm down.
