Wolf, Ask DD7PC for a TV transformer, not a 50 Hz HV transformer! Marco has already ordered one from http://www.oppermann-electronic.de/html/teslatechnik.html (Tesla82)... ...as mentioned before... I tried the secondary of a HV transformer today to load the vertical as a series load inductance, after inserting it, the Alpha signals were gone. Removing it restored the signals.Fact is, a 50/60 Hz core has way too much attenuation on 9kcs to be suitable, although it had a nice inductivity , it always repeats itself : "there is no such thing as a free lunch in physics" 73 de wolf df2py & di2bj <<winmail.dat>> |
