Hi amigos groupos !

I tried the secondary of a HV transformer today to load the vertical as a series load inductance, after inserting it, the Alpha signals were gone. Removing it restored the signals.Fact is, a 50/60 Hz core has way too much attenuation on 9kcs to be suitable, although it had a nice inductivity , it always repeats itself : “there is no such thing as a free lunch in physics”
