Hello Peter, I do have a EMU 0202 external USB audio card.It works very well, but it has an issue at start up on Windows XP and Windows 7. Though it is a USB 2.0 device it often starts up as a USB 1.1 device and this does not work. There is a message in the driver package talking about a "hot switching" issue, which seems to happen at system boot up. It can be solved by manually switching it off and again on with the headphone level control at the front. It is not a great deal, but it should be nice if this problem could be solved otherwise. Do you or anybody else on this list know of a decent work arround? Thanks for the bandwidth. Best regards, Roelof Bakker, pa0rdt |
