Dear LF
The double or treble reports on strong
signals are due to a main hum problem on my system. It only seems to appear on
500 and only on signals where I am strong e,g, MOBMU and MOFMT. I’m
working on some solutions and will also be getting a USB sound card to try and
further isolate the sound from the mains.
Apologies to all for the multiple decodes.
I have tried turning the power down on the TX to get the extra decodes at
M0BMU and MOFMT below -30dB so they are not picked up but to no avail. Pete’s
too close and Jim M’s antenna is too good!
USB sound card has been advised by several
others so that’s my next port of call
With best regards
Jim

Side Band: wspr?
Please observe the reports I am getting from Jim
G7NKS WSPR transmissions :-
First a weak one and then a strong one then a weak
one (see below) does it mean there's a sprog / modulation on Jim's
transmission off set by approximately +/-50c/s? I will try to get a time
domain display of it when I have time, it may provide a clue. Is it my RX?

Don't think it's my old HB drifty DC RX
that accounts for it because all other reports are OK as far as I have seen
to date but am open to comment.
