Dear Stewart, Gary, LF Group,

The reason I resorted to rather primitive techniques to set the PC clock is
that the shack PC is a rather aged laptop that has no network card, making
connection to the internet-based time services impractical. Still, the sales
are on, so that might change soon.

It's nice to know that "age of steam" methods will still work though!
