Hi  Mike and All,

Perhaps  you can contact with the MCA ( Maritime and Coastguard Agency); you can see here some phone numbers: http://www.mcga.gov.uk/c4mca/mcga07-home/aboutus/contact07/mcga-atoz.htm

Subject: LF: NAVTEX interference

Hello All

My QTH is 1 km from Cullercoats and with the 0900 transmission unbelievable splatter occurred at least +/- 100khz. This is not normal and was not caused by overload of my receiver. Normally I can continue to read weak signals on 500 (when any are present!) at any time whilst GCC is sending Navtex, it is not normally any problem for me.

Maybe somebody knows who to approach to get the problem looked into.

Best regards

Mike, G3GMS

Hello Gary and Group,

I think that the interference is produced by the NAVTEX TX located in Cullercoats, with transmission times at 0100 0500 0900 1300 1700 and 2100 UTC.
