Thanks for the report Gary, I posted a note in the multipsk user group, stn in Norway is getting a reliable decode on the signal , using multipsk, using a 16 mtr long dipole !

oddly the wsjt is not that bad , I had a go , while logged onto the web user group , its bit where you dont need to tune , got me at first , Im using it to send with , the rx is active , pity Jim is not about !

G ..

Hi Graham, LF,

Well it has taken me 25 minutes to get a decode, it is not obvious how to set the Rx & WSJT.

I have the Rx on 501.670 KHz, USB, 400 Hz filter which places the signal base-line at the zero position on the waterfall screen & bingo I got text.
(copied from save decoded file).

Hi ..All

Running , JT65-A Beacon on 503 Khz
(ish bit hard to define)
Tx bandwith looks like 502.95 > 503.15
Tx Dial frequency 501.7 Khz
mode USB
My Tx in 'odd mins'

Rx is active

I am using the 'WSJT6' software , but there is now a second system , part of multipsk ,

http://f6cte.free.fr/MULTIPSK_TEST_06_03_2008.ZIP

The multipsk unpacks and runs with very little fuss , has a usefull close in mode .

NB , you dont need to tune 'onto' the frequency as long asits in the spectrum plot
it will resolve ... had me condfused for a while ...

Reports welcome

Tnx

Graham
