Thanks for all the info chaps on /6 and /17.
 
I had a quick listen from the car park around 1330z or so and G3DXZ was cqing at 599, G0MRF beacon just about audible but clear on qrss 3/psk sidebands, as was the german ship beacon on 505.180 or so.
