Thanks Dave!
I initially assumed myself that no-one would be further than Tom and
checked my log-book entry. I had IO80IU correctly noted, along with
"1039km". Not sure where I got the 1039km from now!
Checking with QRB/QTE gives me 1052.774km / 654.176 miles
Checking Peter G3LDO's estimated IO90ST gives 1052.976 / 654.289 miles
Peter's still best DX, by 200m!
Cross checking with "WinGrid" gives Tom IO80IU = 655.3 miles and Peter's
IO90ST = 655.5 miles. (WinGrid is American and only speaks 'miles').
Looks like there are some differences in the maths between the 3 progs
we've used.
Don't know what I used initially to work out Tom's 1039km...but it was
evidently wrong! Must have been my slide rule?!
