Hello LF and MF group,
I have modified the beacon transmitter of
DI2BO so that it can transmit RTTY and other digital modes now. The signal is
produced by a Hagenuk 0.1 - 30 MHz SSB exciter named EX-1001. This signal is fed
into the Debeg 7121 MF transmitter.
Today (Sunday, August 20, 2006) the beacon is
transmitting permanently on 440.00 kHz in 50 Baud RTTY with 85 Hz shift (same
values as DDH47 on 147,3 kHz). Transmitted power is 1 Watt
ERP. Tomorrow I will switch to "beacon on demand" mode (a call to the number +
49 - 173 - 64 66 981 switches the beacon on for 30 minutes, the phone will not
pick up).
As usual, reception reports are very
welcome.
