These are by far the strongest stations you are likely to see. I will try
to
add my signal to the fray, but need a timer to switch the Tx on at 0500 or
so. This is important as I can't leave the Tx on overnight too often for
safety reasons. Will let you know as soon as I have the timer set up. Of
course, I could get up at 0500, but I just know this will trigger a
migraine! I run about 100mW, so it will require good conditions to work.

I still use G4JNT's QRSS DOS program. This means that you can run it on
something like a 386 or 486 (remember those!) laptops that people throw away
these days. Furthermore it has a timer that works off the computer date/time
thingy so that you can switch the transmitter on and off at predetermined
times. If you want a copy of this program I can send it to you - Andy always
made his programs free to all.

I am all in favour of getting as many stations on for TA stuff as possible.
I also think the QRSS mode might be better for this type of test instead of
DFCW to allow the maximum number of stations into a 60 dot window.
