Hi Dave,

Bad: No rain for a couple of weeks means the ground is dry and the current
is poor, <3A on 136 and 1.5A on 72k.
Bad: Rugby appears to be back on.

What kind of soil do you have? Also, what type of ground screen do you have
under the antenna? The Lowfer guys in this area (eastern US) experience the
opposite effect. In other words, as the ground dries out we see improved
antenna current. Soil is fairly sandy and I'm thinking this is the reason.

PS: There's still some snow in my back yard in spite of 70F temperatures -
more snow in forecast!
