This has just been posted by Paul Nicholson (QTH Todmorden) in the yohoo VLF group: I'm also on receive, and streaming to Paul's server. If anyone in southern DL has found Stefan's exact TX frequency
Hello Dave, Thank you. Yes, lightnings or just charges clouds are really an issue, especially when beeing on a hill there! One can see those charged droplets when they fall on the antenna of my VLF g

Hello Stefan, I used the standard settings of SpectrumLab V2.75b11 BETA in Mode QRSS 120sec/step, 2mHz resolution, with SR CAL. vy73 Marco DD7PC Hello Stefan, I was using the "standard" 9kHz_4mHz set
VLF, On http://abelian.org/vlf/ss100801/ you can find Paul Nicholsons most interesting final report on his reception and filter processing of this 6470 Hz experiment. 73, Stefan/DK7FC
Thank you Wolf, maybe it'S too early in the morning, HI. I tried changing the center frequency several times without changing the frequency range and vice versa. After I changed both, it works. Thank
Dear Paul, Stefan, the two of you you did it again! Truely amazing! And many thanks for the detailed analysis and descriptions (especially the bottom line ;-). Best regards Markus --Ursprüngliche Mit
Hello Michel, Thank you very much for the interest and the appempt to catch the signal. It's the first time i read something from you (regarding the VLF tests) and i am generally impressed by the amo
Hi Michel, Our distance is 10 Lambda :-) This is very impressive with such a small antenna! In Pauls opinion it is a clear reception as well. He is surprised by the strong signals at your and Wolfgan
Hi, Coming mainly from EW here. Looking to those spectrograms since hours I'm feeling like a cleaner at the museum of modern arts: "is this art or is it rubbish?" Greetings from Kiel Peter
Hello all, I have the same question. The 9khz_4mHz.usr can not be set to 6kHz just by changing the frequency range or the center frequency. I am sure it's a simple trick, but I could not find out. So
Dear LF/VLF group, Many thanks to all the people who tried to catch may signal in the yesterdays test .......(snipped)... Again thanks to all the group and hope cuagn in the next test! :-) Best 73, S
Dear Stefan, LF Group, Unfortunately, nothing was seen here that could be identified as a signal - the trouble is, with the spectrogram set for DFCW600, everything looks like a 600 second dash, like
Hello, watching on 6500 Hz. As soon as I know the frequency I wil turn to it. Horst ___________________________________________________________ Neu: WEB.DE De-Mail - Einfach wie E-Mail, sicher wie ei

Dear LF/VLF group, Many thanks to all the people who tried to catch may signal in the yesterdays test! Thanks for taking the time to watch the QRG on a sunny sunday! The RX side is an important facto
Stefan just called and said that he was able to briefly push some current into the wire. With the kite at a somewhat low angle, resonance was near 5.7 kHz, much lower than originally expected. He wan
Great work, Stefan. I again tried to see something from as far as Italy (and from a very noisy environment). So, no real hopes but nevertheless lot of fun and interest in your experiment :-) Unfortun
There is a very faint trace at 8.9702kHz on Stefan's grabber from around 0800. Is this him testing? Nothing seen on the 6.5kHz grabber yet. Good luck to all looking for the signal(s). 73s Roger G3XBM
Hello Stefan, I was using the "standard" 9kHz_4mHz settings from Markus. So the noise blanker only was active. Unfortunately, I saw Wolf's message about the hard limiter after your transmission. Afte
