LF, I am at present puttng out test signals on 137.7 kHz should anyone wish to check their RX. I shall be QRV on 137.7 kHz this evening from about 18.00Z again putting out test signals and also some
Stefan; It's much easier to put a good sigs out on 472 than 137 or 73. Countless new modes to use and band conditions much more predictable on 600 meters. It's too bad as it usually only Joe and me o
Of course it is easier to generate a more effective [stronger erp on a shorter wave than one with the same size ant on LF.] Lot less loading coil on 500 than 137 or 73 to bring ant to resonance. I am
Stefan and Wolf; I think 600/630 meters will always be most popular. You can operate with WSPR 2 with 100 watts into a 50' vertical and make it into Europe quite consistently. Doesn't work that way f

Hello Chris, Unfortunately i do not have much time this evening. However i will be in the shack again sunday evening, if you like to try then. I can set up a CW beacon on LF if you like but that does
Mal, We tried cw on lf last year, do you remember? Your sigs were not audible here and only visible on twente but not audible there. I wonder how did you manage all this dx which such a poor signal?
Stefan es co Ever since the introduction of data modes 137 has gradually gone down hill. In the days of CW and QRSS QSO mode there were over 30 countries active, also BEACON mode does not help. The b
Christian This shows how poor your RX es antenna are. Stefan has remarked a number of times how strong my signal is and I have QSL CARDS and screeen shots from the USA es Canada to prove what I have
Chris You have the same problem on 630 metres. I and others have replied to your CQ calls but you do not reply and yet I am received in UA3, 5B4, 4X4 and others in EU to my East and to the West I hav
Mal, We had this sked last year... You sigs were not audible at twente. How should I hear them even over a longer distance? I also observed, that your sigs on mf were much stronger in winter 2013 tha
