Dear all. There have been a few calls on the cluster for G3WSC to listen crossband. They will be calling on 137.2 and listening 7012 +/- QRM from 1130utc. Dave G3YXM.
Dear all. Does anyone feel like activating an LF mast on Shetland, the week after Easter? I can't do it, no cash to get there! Contact me for details. [email protected] 73. Dave G3YXM.
Uwe I had the same problem with QRSS and have decreased the capacitor to 2.2nF. This still keeps the worst spikes under control when the PA is properly loaded and has proved reliable. It all depends
I doubt whether we'll see anything tonight... the screen looks devoid of any Loran lines, usually a bad sign and topband has collapsed completely. What's going on Alan? The grabber is on just in case

Not looking good so far is it? A couple of others have joined see: http://www.wireless.org.uk/grab/ but there's nothing showing on John or Dex's Argo screens. I'll leave it on. Goodnight. Dave G3YXM.
OK John. There are three stations active, me on .9233 sending "YXM" One on .9222 and one on .9218 both sending full calls (I think) These are relative measurements, I don't claim sub-Hz accuracy but
Is anyone over there watching tonight, and if so, what do conditions look like? There are two Eu stations sending around 922 and I did try a QRO test on 923 and saw nothing back on Dex's live grab. I
John. Thanks for those, quite unambiguous, and my frequency calibration seems to agree with yours! There was someone on 922 at midnight but they went off and I didn't see anything from this side over
John. I'd be interested to see that ( I was asleep so didn't se it live). The DC input to the PA is only 250W so QRSS10 would certainly have been possible at full power. I did move down to 920 to avo

Dear all. I don't like pipe because water collects inside and it's amazing how far an arc can track down a damp path! If you do use it, seal the ends with silicone sealant (applied in a dry place), t
