Hello all,

Maybe someone on this list can help.

Since a few weeks a carrier appeared on about 517.920 kHz.
This is the lower shift frequency of the RTTY NAVTEX signals transmitting on
518 kHz.
>From my location they appear late in the evening from the west.

A listener in Nova Scotia reports a very strong signal at night and marginal at
daytime.

Most likely it is a NAVTEX station stuck in transmitting at the lower shift.

NAVTEX Canada can be ruled out, so it probably is located either in the USA or
the Carribbean.

My question is, can someone on this list hear it at daytime.
This might help to locate it.

Thank you in advance.
