Hoping to try the new H rx on the loops tomorrow (Wednesday),
so there'll be a day of interruptions.

Only one anomaly so far: noise measures .088 fT with the
gain boosted to make the measurement easier. After setting
the gain down to a level suitable for operation, the noise
measures 0.12 fT. Same on both channels. Suggests there's a
noise source not modelled by Spice, somewhere in the back end
of the rx downstream of the stage where the gain was changed.

Maybe I will find it today.

Installing the rx will take many trips back and forth to the
antenna site in a nearby field (very muddy). Each trip I have
to pass through the neighbour's farm and every time through I
get bitten by their sheep dog. Every time, without fail. It is
very fast and sneaky too - it comes out of nowhere. It is the
most aggressive Border Collie I have ever seen. I have a stock
of decoy sausages to try.

Hopefully the dog will be the only problem with the installation.
