Paul, many thanks for the feedback. Amazing! It never gets boring.
I just calculated, with 31.7 dB in 34.7 uHz, the 300 charcter message
could have been passed last night in just these 8 hours. Crazy.
Hasn't the SNR been better in daytime between us? So maybe you caught
the message after one day?

A great big signal here, 0.30 fT
http://abelian.org/vlf/fbins.shtml#p=1509778800&b=120&s=fd
In 34.7 uHz (22:00 to 06:00):
H-field: 26.66 dB 93.1 deg
E-field: 24.99 dB 96.0 deg
Combined: 31.70 dB.
Pointing in the opposite direction, S/N is -4.8 dB so there's
a fairly good notch at the back of the pattern.
I'm looking forward to rigging that spectrogram to use all
three axes so that the bearings will be mod 360 and we will
have an extra few dB gain.
