Hi VLF,
Once again a plain carrier is now running since 19:30 UTC on 8270.005 Hz.
I am not on the maximum level of the coil, just running 600 mA for this
night. I need to make some improvements on the transductor circuit...
If all works well, it will run until the afternoon, where i'm planning
some modifications.
As usual the current state can be followed from the tree at
http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_VLF_Grabber2.html
The big goal is to leave a first clear trace at RC4HAA in 2877 km
distance. That trace could become visible at http://136.su/grabber/
But as usual it is also an invitation for 'local' RX stns to try...
73, Stefan
PS: Here is a photo of the coil that i used for 300 mA on 5170 Hz:

It has about 2 H and a DC resistance of 1.17 kOhm!
