Recent reception of VO1NA carrier in Todmorden, UK. Measurements
in 34.7 uHz, daytime 10:00 to 18:00, nighttime 23:00 to 07:00.
H-field (new) E-field
29th no signal detected
29/30th 8.89 dB 0.04 fT -47.5 deg 8.08 dB -61.5 deg
30th no signal detected
30/31st 10.60 dB 0.03 fT -72.4 deg 7.90 dB -50.4 deg
31st no signal detected
31/1st no signal detected
1st no signal detected
1/2nd 13.18 dB 0.04 fT -58.8 deg 13.36 dB -65.2 deg
2nd no signal detected
2/3rd 14.19 dB 0.06 fT -89.2 deg 11.03 dB -82.4 deg
I don't see any daytime signal at all recently. Nighttime signal
is quite repeatable, except for 31/1st when there was no trace
of the carrier - perhaps it was off?
The last two nights the signal is distinctly stronger, did you
make some improvements Joe?

No, the total induced charge on the E-field probe. At radio and audio
frequencies, photons have absolutely miniscule energy.
If the recent night S/N continues, combined E and H receivers make it
reasonable to try 5 chars of 16K23A with CRC-18 and 26 second symbols,
starting at 23:00 and finishing 07:05:20. Expected Eb/N0 would be
around 0dB.
