Hi ULF,I've ordered some components to build a mains transformer (actually just a coil) for further 970 Hz experiments. It has an EI core, to allow adding an air gap to align the inductivity! http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/EI%20transformer%20components.jpgIt is very nice, the quality is very good and it is not so expensive. Worth to play with. The idea is to build a few identical coils for 970 Hz (magnetically isolated to each other) which allow to run more voltage and antenna current down on 970 Hz... 73, Stefan |
