Hello Graham, Thank you for the accumulated results of last night's 477 VO1NA OP8 reception. Results are promising as propagation was rather mediocre. I find it amazing how well the cheap RTL-SDR V3 dongle worked. Is the signal to noise figure referenced to a bandwidth of 2500 Hz? If so, using a 12 Hz filter for aural copy, yields an improvement of about 23 dB. 73, Roelof, pa0rdt |
