Question about the 5kV mains modified transformer. Is it a microwave oven transformer ? Or one of those used for spark ignition in
combustion chambers ? What do you use to drive it ?
I have one of this around. But remember you mentioned this transformers would not work much higer than 50Hz
As long as there is no need to wind a giant coil this "seems" to be more affordable as a new circus track to play with
But ...... there is never free lunch, for sure. So, tell us about the difficulties there
