Hi Paul,
OK, thanks and congrats, the message is correct :-) It was time to get
a decode again so i started with just 3 characters.
The antenna current plot is in attachment.
As you know, the next message is already running:
f = 6470.00000 Hz
Start time: 02.11.2016 07:00:00 UTC
Symbol length: 30 s
Characters: 7
CRC 16
Coding 16K25A
Duration: 10h, 56m, 0s
Antenna current: ~ 280 mA
The transmission is started automatically by SpecLab. I started to
transmit an hour earlier, to heat (and dry!) up the coil so i do get
the full antenna current. The phase keying started at 7 UTC.
QRN levels are very low today, so we may be lucky? I'm looking forward
to the results!
So far the 10 character record was by using 100s symbols at 8K19A, this
took almost 21 hours. 7 characters would take 17 hours in that mode.
Now we try it with 11 hours and a higher coding gain and we can expect
lower QRN and less phase variations during the shorter period. Actually
not unlikely! :-)
73, Stefan
PS: You wrote: -63 dB in 2.5 kHz. That sounds very strong!?? It means
+13 dB (good for QRSS/DFCW) in 62.5 uHz, so fine for QRSS-60000. Not
bad at all! But 'yes' would take about 2 weeks in that mode...

Copied 'YES' at Eb/N0 = +5.7dB, BER = 35.6%
Constant reference phase.
Carrier S/N: 16.96 dB in 26.9 uHz.
About -63dB in 2.5kHz bandwidth after sferic
blanking.
I was expecting around +6.5dB based on the
daytime carrier measured on 10th October.
