Unhappy news - I am sad to read this! My LF coil has also been wound from Derek's Litz wire, so it will serve as a lasting memory of the friendly contact we had.

Sad news Alan.
I've been in contact with him in 2011 the last time, got my LF coil's
litz wire from him.
