Hi Rick,
"The IMP-6 was spinstabilized about an axis perpendicular to the
ecliptic plane with a 100-m dipole antenna situated in the spin
plane." p1

A 100 metre dipole on a spacecrat?
I wonder whether this came out on April 1 and they rubber-stamped it
January by mistake.

One thing that we could try is to have a QSO on 475kHz, seeing that
"The peak intensity for each event occurs at 475 kHz..." p4
Perfectly legal as it's in our 630metre band.
Who's going to claim the first Earth-Uranus QSO?

73's Rick
Lawrence
