Hello Paul,Good work indeed! The message is correct. It is the first digi mode message on 6.47 kHz. -0.3 dB Eb/N0, that's quite critical, and that for 100 second symbols. Also the phase variations seem to be much higher than on 8.27. The question is, is this reproducable and/or is it related to our path only. Maybe, going 200 Hz up or down would show a significantly different behaviour?! We will see... 73, Stefan Am 07.05.2016 09:24, schrieb Paul Nicholson: Stefan wrote: > A second EbNaut message will start: > > f = 6470.000 Hz > Start time: 05.05.2016 15:00:02 UTC > Period: 100 s > Length: 5 I'm getting '73+55' at Eb/N0 = -0.3dB with phase pattern 30 60 30 60 Carrier S/N: 15.25 dB in 19.5 uHz Still working on the first message, noise in the E/W loop was very high that night. Looks like we have between 40 and 65 degree day/night phase shift (depends which antenna I measure it on). -- Paul Nicholson -- |
